Oh,my! This sweet couple’s day finally arrived and they were greeted with blue skies and perfect weather for their weekend lake house wedding!

Mark and Kati knew they wanted to host their favorite people traveling for the wedding. This charming boat house in Michigan was the perfect fit for everyone to relax and enjoy: summer in Michigan can’t be beat!

I love a welcome party! This was a casual evening for everyone to enjoy each other’s company and take in the views of the lake. Kati had a fun surprise planned for Mark: She booked his favorite acoustic guitar player/ vocalist. The guests and the couple had a hoot with his playful tunes! Kati’s son, cute Beckett, was also the life of the party! Fireworks to round out the evening was a huge hit!

You will see from the images that Mark and Kati are easy like Sunday morning together. They fit perfectly in each other’s arms and you can tell that is effortless for them. They laugh easily and move together as if no one else is there but the two of them. I have been so excited to share what I was viewing as their wedding day unfolded. I am a storyteller at heart. I love seeing all of the pieces come together and it is a great honor and joy to document such a special celebration.

This sweet couple asked me to say a blessing at dinner. I was (and am still )completely humbled to have been asked, and I continue to pray God’s blessings over the two of them!

Mark and Kati…thank you for trusting me with your memories! I loved getting to know you two as a couple and now a family. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and I hope you always cherish these moments captured. Your day was so beautiful and your love and laughter truly shine!

I hope Hawaii was amazing!
