Meet the Harrison Family. I have known this sweet couple for many years now as they are a very talented husband and wife photography team 🙂 We have such an amazing network here in Grand Rapids and it is refreshing to help each other with our individual photography business. I adore their sweet spirits and humor! Just an all around fun-loving, genuine couple.

They welcomed their adorable baby boy into the world just 6 months ago. We were all so excited to hear how labor and delivery went as we have been chatting about all of our motherhood experiences with Laura leading up to Jonas’ birth. I remember receiving a call asking for prayers for Ben & Laura and especially baby Jonas. I knew they were not expecting to have to send their new baby boy to the NICU and what followed in the days to come and the news they eventually shared was heartbreaking as a mama myself. Jonas went through so much his first few days of life. You can read all about their journey HERE. It is truly soo touching and I could not even begin to tell their story as well as they have shared it.

I am just so amazed at their faith and grace as they are walking this path with sweet Jonas. He sure is little snuggle bug and I absolutely adore what I documented for them. I simply LOVE these in-home lifestyle sessions. You can see the genuine connection and love shining throughout the imagery and slideshow. I truly.truly.with.all.of.my.heart wish I had these moments documented of my family. But, I am so happy I am able to give this to other families.

 

Sweet Laura and Ben…thank you for welcoming me into your home.  I know these first 6 months of parenthood have been trying to say the least, but the love you have for your baby boy outshine it all. You are Amazing parents & it is so obvious how God is walking with you as you help your sweet boy. He has Big plans for Jonas..I am excited to see it unfold! So much love to you!
