Wow! What an Amazing Year 2010 was!  I am So excited to see what 2011 has in store for me!  Each new year we are blessed with a clean slate and a fresh new start! I just love that!

I wanted to take a minute to Thank All of My AMAZING clients for a blessed year! I had no idea that when I started my business that I would meet such wonderful and loving people!  I truly feel so blessed to be able to do exactly what I love and to be able to be a part of your lives and stories in some small way!  I know I say this quite a bit in my blog posts…but, I still feel completely honored to document your stories and share in your joy!  My job is so much more than taking pretty pictures!  I love that my brides are excited for me to see thier details and THE PERFECT DRESS….the beautiful bouquets and the thier grandmother’s broach. I love that we laugh like girlfriends and both get teary when dad sees them for the first time. I am treated like family and not just a vendor and I love that! Leading up to the wedding we are collaborating to shoot at the perfect locations to achieve thier dream look for their wedding. I text them on the morning of thier special day and tell them how excited I am for them and I can’t wait to see them…I do not do that for any other reason except that I remember how I felt on my wedding day and I want my brides to know how much they mean to me. Let’s not forget about the groomsmen.  I tear up at EVERY.SINGLE. mother/son dance. I am like a baby when I see how bittersweet it is for that mama to let her son go.  Yes…I know she is happy for her baby, but it will never be the same.  I know that with my own boys I will blink and that mama will be ME!  My business is much more than showing up and snapping away….I am carefully documenting your story.  I have been the last one to photograph someone’s loved one. I have recieved emails asking for images for a funeral.  I take my job seriously and that is what I mean by being honored to be a part of your day!  Thank you for trusting me with your memories.

My lifestyle clients are not excluded from this Thank you!  I love seeing your families grow and it is so fun to document the pouty faces, the toothless grins, the interaction of mama and child(we all know us mama’s are rarely in the shots at home:) and the sweet kisses from daddy.  Our little ones are growing so fast and although I would give anything to slow down time…how awesome that we have portraits to remember!  I realize that I am able to perserve those memories for you and I am truly honored!  I have become attached to so many of my clients…it’s hard not to. My business is based on relastionships and it is so neat that a few of my closests girlfriends were once my clients….how great is that??  I am blessed.

So…Cheers to 2011!!   God has truly blessed me with the gift of photography and I am thankful to be able to share my gift with you!
