So…I love it when my clients get a better sense of who I am.  To know me is to know my family.  They are one of the most important parts of who I am!  I am a proud mama of two ridiculously handsome boys….I know I am partial 🙂  I was a stay~at~home mama for eight years before my photography journey began.  I feel incredibly blessed to have not missed one single milestone in their lives!  I witnessed All of their Firsts and I have the luxury of working from home to still be a part of their every day lives!  (wait..did I say working from home was a blessing??…ok, it depends on which day you ask me:)

One of the most rewarding And challenging job is being Jack and Charlie’s mama.  There isn’t a handbook…no guidelines…I remember leaving the hospital with Jack and thinking…THEY ARE ACTUALLY LETTING US LEAVE WITH THE BABY??  What do we know about parenting?? lol  Ok..I kid somewhat, but truthfully…it is hard.  Us mama’s are constantly second guessing ourselves and doubting our actions at one point or another.  The older I become the more empathy I have for other mamas.  I truly feel that most of us are doing the best that we can and love our babes more than anything!  Kids will make mistakes…MANY!  But, that is what kids do.  We have to be there to guide and direct them to become amazing adults.  I know I have made so many mistakes…I know there will be more to come…but, one thing is for certain…I have my boys best interest at heart and will apologize if need be.  I think one of the biggest mistakes we can make is pretending our kids or our parenting is without fault.  I have yet to meet either.

I pride myself on being a good mama…it is  my most important job!  So..I encourage and support all the Amazing Mama’s out there!  We are raising the future….let’s uplift each other, k??  😉  Tell someone you know what a great mama they are…I bet it will just make their day!!!

*oh, and ps….I know we all think we should wait to get our pictures taken until we lose that 10 lbs, right??  Um…can I say JUST DO IT?? Another reason to get on the books today…Kelly Braman Photography is booked for July and August!  Don’t wait too long, little mamas:)
