{just me::personal}

Reflecting on this past year…I have so many things to be thankful for!  One would think it was because everything went my way and all was well this past year…quite the opposite.  Like everyone…we all have struggles and heart ache and sometimes it just comes in waves.  At least that is how I feel 😉  I truly believe that what does not break us makes us stronger!  We overcome and endure and stay faithful and lean on God and our loved ones….and somehow this too shall pass…it always does.  I have learned many things this past year and I am so incredibly blessed! Although trials come (and will always) it is how you handle them…

I have made many beautiful friendships and I better because of them!  How great to uplift one another in good times and through trials..as we all need a cheerleader  when feeling defeated.  It is so much easier to just be real and not pretend that life is perfect…we are all doing the very best that we can and some days are certainly better than others 🙂 can I get an Amen :)lol

I am a giver by nature…but, I surely have been given to and I feel so loved.

Thank you to all of my Amazing, beautiful, thoughtful and loving clients!  You have touched my life in so many ways  this past year! I am honored to have been a part of your story if even for a brief amount of time!  Photography has brought me so much joy and I am so excited to be living out this dream every.single.day. How great is that?!

Thank you to my dear friends….you know who you are and I love you. Thank you for late night phone chats…some of you ichats 😉 , the pep talks, listening to my woes,lunches or coffee and chatting about motherhood or photography or joys and pain…my business or my life would not be the same without your continued support and love.

And of course my family…

(including my parents and in~laws…thank you:)

My husband, Micah, and I will celebrate 10 years of marriage this February and I am proud of where we are at today.  The path has not been all roses and sunshine, but I am glad we walked it together. We love our boys, Jack and Charlie more than life itself…and although I am starting to sound sappy, I can’t help myself.  A client of mine said she thinks I am “What you see is what you get”  I just thought that was a great compliment…because it is so true.  So, sappy and all…my boys are my everything and have shaped my life in ways that I could have never imagined.  Being their mama is one of my greatest accomplishments.

Ok…the rambling has ended  😉 I am looking forward to today with my family.  I am excited to hear Jack play the guitar with his grandpa and Charlie has been baking in the kitchen with his grandma. I love watching Micah whip up his fabulous dishes while I chat and chop whatever he needs:)  How sweet is that… I wish everyone reading this  a  very blessed Thanksgiving…what are you thankful for?!

blessings,

kellyb.
