So…today is my birthday…even though I do not look forward to another year older, I am excited!  Excited for new found friendships and opportunities to grow this year.  I love that I am finding my way :in my thirties: and love who I have become.  Is there room for improvement??  Um…it depends who you ask?  lol  OF COURSE there will always be room for improvement and I look forward to the challenge!  I truly love where my life is at in this moment.  Is everything perfect…heaven’s no.  But, I know whatever life throws at me…God will see me through it!

I spent the morning with my favorite boys at church and then a quiet low key afternoon snuggled up together…(shh..I may have taken a nap…yesterday’s wedding made me tired:)  We were all going to go out to a fabulous dinner together…but, I asked for lunch out and to spend the night in…is that a sign of old age???  Please refrain from answering if you you think YES:)

No elaborate party…just lots of love from friends and family with the sweetest birthday wishes…isn’t that what it is all about?  I sure think so!

*ps. one of my favorite gifts was that my baby dog, Moosie is still with us!  He was playing in the yard with the boys…what a blessing after the vet said last week that he only had hours to live…I am thankful for the extra time with my first baby! 🙂

**Yesterday I had the privilege of documenting one of the sweetest couples I have met.  It was SO COLD, but they were troopers…I can’t wait to share their story with you.  I will leave you with a stunning image of the sweet Dee.  She truly has a heart of gold and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her!  I was giddy with excitement when I was photographing her…what a love.
